The valve cover is covered with grime as a result of a leaky valve cover gasket. Note: I had already cleaned a ton of grime from the top of the cover!
A view from the passenger side fender reveals the oil leak from the valve cover gasket covers the entire right side of the block.
Yummy...rusty master cylinder!
Just like the Corvette had - crud all over the power steering pump and bracket!
The all-mighty single barrel carburator...lol.
The alternator also seems a bit worn on the finish coat.
It may be time for a new water pump.
The decal on the air cleaner appears original but worn out.
