Union City Memories...
Despite the public website, I actually like my privacy...anyone who knows me can attest to that. However, I wanted to share some of my Union City Memories. So, here we go...
I was born in Jersey City in 1971 but was raised in Union City, New Jersey. Being directly across from NYC, I was accustomed to city life. Union City (from now on referred to as UC) was heavily populated by Cubans and other Hispanics (including the neighboring towns of Weehawken, West New York, North Bergen, Guttenberg, Hoboken and Jersey City). I am the youngest of 3 kids (2 older sisters).

The building on the left (taken 11/02) was my childhood home.

I am the little pudgy one sitting topless with my sisters Carmen (right) and Becky (top). Photo was taken in our UC apartment ca. 1972/1973.

Left to Right: My Mom, myself & Becky in the later 1970s.
I attended public schools from Pre-K - 6th grade, then attended a Catholic school, followed by a prep school during the high school years and ultimately a Catholic College and graduate program (well, that explains everything...). Once I left to college, I left UC - never to truly return to a full-time living situation (except for summers during college).
During my time in UC, I have gathered many, many memories. I am not able to share many of those since I will probably implicate myself and many people but here are cool pages about the "good ole days."
