5th Annual NYC Police Museum Car Show
June 11 & 12, 2005

If you are wondering why I posted these pics, that would be because my museum, the New York City Police Museum, sponsored an antique police car show. Cool cop rides from all over the United States came to spend a two-day event. The building in the above pic is the Museum, which was the NYPD's 1st Precinct from 1911-1973. Two previous buildings on this site also housed the 1st Precinct. Now a museum, three floors of exhibits are featured. More on the Museum later, now check out these rides...

A rare combo. The Pontiac was used only 1 year by NYPD. The paddy wagon was 1 of 4 built.

NYC's official parade car which has served many mayors, governors and many other dignitaries.

1976 Pontiac Arkansas Trooper.

NY State Trooper in the old days...

Ahhh - the 1979 Ford LTD NJ State Trooper car.

NYPD's early ESU truck.

NYPD cars were Green/White/Black untill 1973 when blue was introduced.

Not exactly Hill Street Blues...more like Old Slip happiness.
Port Authority Police were represented.

No, not my buddy Angelo's car but close.

Another TV crime fighter made it to the show.

This one just reminded me of the Union City PD cars when I was a kid. Here's a 79 'LTD.
